Email Forwarding

Email Forwarding Setup

Create an inbound channel for support tickets or direct customer emails.

1. Get Your Unique Inbound Address

Every project in FeedPulse AI has a unique email address. Where you find it depends on if you're setting up a new project or configuring an existing one.

New Projects

During setup, you'll see your address on the Configure screen after naming your project.

Existing Projects

Go to Settings > Integrations to find your project's inbound address.

Address format: project-uuid@inbound.feedpulseai.com

2Configure Forwarding

Choose the method that best fits your workflow:

Option A: Dedicated Support Alias (Best for Teams)

Create a clean address like feedback@yourcompany.com that auto-forwards to FeedPulse AI.

  1. Ask your IT admin to create a group/alias (e.g., product-feedback@).
  2. Set the group to Auto-Forward all mail to your FeedPulse AI Inbound Address.
  3. Result: Users email your branded address, and it appears in your dashboard automatically.

Option B: Personal Inbox Rules (Best for Individuals)

If you manage multiple projects from one inbox (e.g., Gmail), use filters.

Gmail:
  • Go to Settings > Filters and Blocked Addresses.
  • Create a filter: Subject: [Project A] OR Has the words: "Project A".
  • Action: Forward to project-a-uuid@inbound.feedpulseai.com.
Outlook:
  • Go to Rules > Manage Rules & Alerts.
  • Condition: Subject contains "Project A".
  • Action: Forward to project-a-uuid@inbound.feedpulseai.com.

Don't Panic: Dealing with Verification Codes

When you set up forwarding (especially in Gmail), they will send a verification email to the FeedPulse AI address.

  1. Gmail says: "We sent a confirmation code to..."
  2. Go to your FeedPulse AI Dashboard > Responses tab.
  3. You will see a new response titled "Gmail Forwarding Confirmation" (or similar).
  4. Open it, copy the code, and paste it back into Gmail to confirm.
