Connecting Slack

Capture feedback directly from your team's Slack channels into FeedPulse AI.

1Turn On Integration

Option A: New Project

  1. In the Project Creation Wizard, go to the Configure step.
  2. Click on the Slack card.
  3. A popup will open. Select your Workspace and click Allow.
  4. On success, the popup will close and you will be redirected back to the wizard.
  5. Select your channel from the dropdown list.

Option B: Existing Project

  1. Go to Project Settings > Integrations.
  2. Find the Slack card and click Connect.
  3. Follow the popup authorization flow.

2Important: Invite the Bot to Channels

Don't skip this step!

Connecting the app is not enough. You must explicitly invite the bot to each public channel you want to track.

  1. Open your Slack app.
  2. Go to the channel (e.g., #feedback or #general).
  3. Type /invite @FeedPulseAI and hit Enter.
  4. You should see a confirmation message that the bot has joined.

3Import History

Back in your FeedPulse AI Dashboard, click the Import History button on the Slack card. Select the channel(s) you just invited the bot to.
This will fetch the last 1,000 messages from that channel immediately for analysis.
